Hey! Hi. Hello 🙂

I’m Jessica! Founder of Selected Society, a mom lifestyle blog where I share everything from real-life mom moments to product picks, travel tips, and thoughtful gift guides.

A Little About Me:

I’m a proud girl mom to my beautiful daughter, Alorah. I was born and raised in Tacoma, Washington, but after giving birth, I relocated to the Bay Area, where I’ve been navigating motherhood and life ever since.

I’m Cambodian! 😀

I also run a content creation business called Love Always Media, where I help brands capture magic behind the scenes through video and storytelling.

I love being outdoors and doing outdoor activities.
But I also love being a homebody and playing video games or just indulging in a little brain rot and doing absolutely nothing (lol). Balance, right?

I love to dress up, do my makeup, and take pictures every once in a while; just to remind myself I still got it while being a full-time mom. ✨

My family and close friends mean the world to me. I wouldn’t be where I am today without their love and support.

I’m that girl who goes to random stores and browses every aisle just for fun; with a coffee in hand, of course.

I love going to the gym… but I’m very inconsistent (haha, working on it).

Why I Started Selected Society

I created Selected Society to push my limits and share the things that make my life a little easier (and a lot more fun). Years ago, I launched a blog called Turnt Mama, where I shared mom tips, DIYs, and random life updates. It didn’t take off; but I learned a lot.

From building websites and custom blog themes to running ads, designing logos, and learning plugins, I’ve been on a journey of growth ever since. This blog is where I apply everything I’ve learned; and continue learning.

What You’ll Find on the Blog:

  • Mom product reviews & everyday must-haves
  • Travel tips for moms and families
  • Gift guides for birthdays, holidays & beyond
  • Personal reflections on motherhood, identity, and creativity
  • A little fun, randomness, and probably too much coffee

Thank you for stopping by and being here. I hope this blog helps you discover something new whether you’re here for a quick scroll or a deep dive.

Love always,
Jess
